Okay, this week I am going to try something new. I was very inspired by the way people responded to the post "Heed "the Call"", probably because it only inflates my massive ego. Anyway, what I am going to do with this post is ask a question and see if a conversation can begin from it. I usually use this space to rant (and yes try to start trouble at times), but let's see what happens if i hold back on sharing were this question cames from and just pose it to you the reader.
Have you ever come to the point in a particular project, or maybe life in general, where you realized that you could go no further on shear talent or previous knowledge alone?

Hmmm... I really didn't want to be first to respond, due to my ability to ramble endlessly. Probably why I write songs and not sermons? I'm forced to get to the point; fast.
So, for now, I'll just answer simply - Yes, almost constantly.
Myk
HAHA-Would u believe that I just typed a very long response and then it disappeared? I guess you would.
I am glad it erased. I am thinking more about it. I was going to say that I am often in that situation and find that easier and more enjoyable than having to just "go" with what I have. Although that might be true I think every person expereinces what you described. I consider it the very inspiration that drives us to research, reach out, and pause. It requires humility. It requires genuiness. I have to say to the situation or person that I do not know what to do or how to do it. I might have ideas about how it should be done, but if I really want to do well, I need more. I think coming to that moment is also exciting. There is a promise there...of moving ahead..of something new. It is an oppurtunity to connect more deeply with people as we work it out. I think it gives us the oppurtunity to be humbled, to rest, to be helped. It gives someone else the oppurtunity to shine, to love, to support. It is a necessary experience in our lives to keep ourselves and our relationships in balance. It also makes room for new relationships. Going with what we know and just jumping in is adventurous. So is reaching out for support, for partnership and going somewhere new together.
I guess when we go on what we know we could easily go alone. For there to be more required to go further says relationiships are required to go further. That is what I think.
